Moshe Feiglin Hosts Knesset Caucus on Professional Volunteer Army

Wednesday's Caucus for a Professional Army, hosted in the Knesset by Moshe Feiglin, focused on the military budget, waste and how a professional army would save Israel millions. The well-attended caucus highlighted the fact thatthe IDF is drafting people who are not needed in the army because the draft serves an outdated ethos and is politically expedient for Yair Lapid. On the other hand, the IDF just asked for an increased budget, even though it drafts thousands of soldiers that it does not need. Additional caucuses in the near future will explore other advantages of a professional army.
