Feiglin on NewsMax TV: Israel Belongs Only to the Jews

By Bill Hoffmann
The Palestinians have no right to claim their own nation, and in fact should not even be called Palestinians, says Moshe Feiglin, Deputy Speaker of the Knesset, the legislative branch of the Israeli government.
“[They are] the Arabs in the land of Israel. I do not call them ‘Palestinians’ because there is no Palestinian nation. We should start saying the truth,” Feiglin told “The Steve Malzberg Show” on Newsmax TV.
“Can you talk about the Palestinian history in the 19th century, for example? Can you give a name of a Palestinian poet from the 18th century or show me a Palestinian coin or anything like that?
“It’s one big lie. This false nation was created just for one reason, to destroy Israel. The minute, God forbid, Israel disappears, there will be no Palestinians anymore,” he said Wednesday.
Feiglin, who has declared his candidacy for Israeli prime minister, said the world must not forget the diabolical goal of the Palestine Liberation Organization, which was founded in 1964.
“[It was to] ‘liberate’ the land of Israel from all the Jews in Tel Aviv, Netanya and Jerusalem, and so on,” he said.
“As long as these territories belong to any other Arab nation, they don’t care. They only care about the last square inch that the Jews are holding in the land of Israel because . . . it’s not about them having a state, it’s about us don’t.”
Feiglin said that because Palestine has never really existed, it can’t be called a nation wanting to be free.
“I don’t remember having a war against Palestinians ever. There was a war against the Egyptians, the Jordanians, the Syrians, there was no war against Palestinians,” he said.
“So, if you’re calling yourself a nation and you want to be liberated, liberated from who?”
Feiglin said the so-called Israeli-Palestinian peace talks in the past year have yielded little else but the freeing of scores of Palestinian criminals by the Israeli government as part of a compromise.
“I appreciate [Benjamin] Netanyahu very much as a prime minister of Israel, but when Netanyahu talks about a two-state solution, [he] is making a tremendous mistake,” Feiglin said.
“I’m planning to run [in the] primaries specifically because of that fact. It’s about time that it will be very clear to the Arabs and to the entire world that the land of Israel belongs only to the Jews, it was given to us by God.
“There’s no nation that belongs to that land, that belongs to its own land, more than the Jews belong to the Holy land.”
